Out of Pocket

Well this really has NOTHING to do with MckMama...I will be leaving very early tomorrow morning to be with my mom who has colon cancer. Will you say a prayer for her, if you think of it! We would greatly appreciate it! Cancer is a beast! So hard!
I am so thankful to God, He is the one who gives us strength to carry on! I am thankful that even in the hard times, we can renew our strength in HIM!

Toys

So when I went to check in and see what the BIG discussion would be today at MWOP, it is about toys. Do the MCK have toys! I mean are we serious people? You are going to debate that? And bash that! Um, okay then! I think they have nothing good to talk about!

Let's try this again...last time I asked what your favorite recipe was...it went down a different trail. Do you have a favorite recipe that MckMama has made? If so I would love to know which one. There are a few more of hers that I would like to try, just have not had the time. So what is your favorite?

A new low

Can I tell you right now I am absolutely disgusted with the internet. Some of the people. To even make an assumption that MckMama's kids would be abused, or that they should have taken care of that problem, or any other thing, is the lowest of all lows. The ladies over at MckMama without Pity should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. I mean they really should. You have now not just attacked MckMama, but you have attacked her children. You have put claims on the internet, based on your false assumptions. It is one thing to tear her apart for photo-shopping her kids, it is another to say they could be in danger. Ladies did you really just go there? Unbelievable! I feel sorry for you all.

MckMama, if you ever visit here. i just want you to know how sorry I am that people, that fellow ladies, can be so vicious. I am sorry that they have attacked your family. I am sorry that you even have people like them on the internet spreading terrible rumors about your mothering skills, because in essence that is what they are doing.

I am so happy for you MckMama. Welcome to the world of 5 kids! It is exciting, fun, adventurous, crazy, exhausting, rewarding, and so much more! What a gift God has given you. God is good. I will be praying for your pregnancy that it goes smoothly. :)

Food Choices

So this morning they ladies over at MckMama Without Pity are complaining over her food choices. I mean that is boring. They complain MckDaddy is boring, but who cares what she eats or what food she blogs about. Who cares if she blogs about organic cooking, but does not always follow that. That does NOT make her liar, but a human being who craves different things.

GOOD FOR YOU McK Mama eating what you want! If you crave a BIG fat pizza I hope you get yourself one. AND take pictures of yourself eating doritos, that WILL REALLY make the ladies over at the "other" blog go crazy. It would be funny really. It is funny they get there panties so in a wad over what you eat.

MckMama you are pregnant. Eat what you want. When you want. How much you want. And enjoy it! Thank you for all the wonderful recipes you have posted. I have enjoyed several! Your recipes ROCK! And I hope you have a wonderful day!

MckMama Without Pity

So have you been to MckMama Without Pity? Can I just tell you I am so disappointed in these ladies. WOW! I really do not have words to describe the utter disbelief of how other mom, ladies, whoever can speak so mean spirited about another person.

Who cares if she Photoshops her kids,sees a counselor, has a foreclosed home, has accepted gift cards,had a car repossessed, going to travel with Compassion, travels with her husband on trips, has a belief in God, and I could go on and on and on.

I understand her blog is big, and popular. I understand some scrutiny comes with having a big blog. I understand that. If you dont like her, DONT READ HER BLOG. WHY MUST You be mean spirited? Why tear another person down?

It is old, RIDICULOUS!

I think MckMama Without Pity should be ashamed of herself.

Mck Daddy

So what do you guys think about adding her husband? I think it is very cool! So happy for them. What is so different about them, is that they are choosing to climb there mountain and deal with stuff head on. Unfortunately for so many couples they do not. They should be applauded for that. I am excited to start reading what her husband says. I hope and pray that as they write they will reach thousands. That some word will capture the heart of even just ONE, to step up and deal with stuff and not be like so many americans and sweep there issues under the carpet.

Favorite Mck Mama Recipes

So have any of you tried the recipes on MckMama's blog. I have and we have fallen in love with a few. Texas Caviar is one of our favorite's now! Actually I called it Summer bean and corn salad, maybe she did too, I really can't remember. We make it often.

So if you have not tried it, YOU SHOULD! So what is your favorite recipe if you have tried one?

So I know MckMama is just another mom like me. We all parent differently, and probably if the truth were known about all of us, we ALL do things differently. What I find so alarming though, are the number of people that have started blogs or comment on these blogs picking her apart, her every move, everything. And my question is this, why do you even read her blog if you dont like what she says...then don't read her blog. It is just that simple. If you have kids, how DO YOU have time to read and investigate all she does. Does that mean you are neglecting your own stuff? Anyways, I am not going to post here often, but we will see if people start trickling in. Who knows maybe MckMama herself will pop in! We shall see! So go ahead and post something nice.
